aloft with love long lost
and dreams adjourned.

will they never
be returned?

bring me to the stars,

for that’s where I wish to die.

join me with the shining souls

so none of them are alone if they cry.

You are broken, beaten and worn
Lines are down and wings are torn

One last flight I must beg of you
Just make it across this dusty room

Fly, fly the words of this mighty sap
Into her true love to-be’s awaiting lap

There you may land and at last know rest
For I will know on his face if the answer is yes
